I'm not jealous, I'm not jealous, I'm not jealous, I'm not jealous..
I didn't want to go anyway, I didn't want to go anyway, I didn't want to go anyway...
If I say it enough times, will I start to believe it?
NOOOOOOOOOOO

Just can't get enough E's in this wildernesh
Or maybe another one of the things that doesn't work is my keyboard!
Should be breathe, maybe time to change my username to Al Zimer!
Regretably, for me at least, a last minute problem has prevented my attendance. Have to put all that gear back in the loft now ;( but on the bright side you are saved the embarassment of my company.
SB What phone message?
Control of your digets is notoriously lax! I am not perpetually in the Pub like some and always find time to respond.

Phew, what a relief read CWs post and thought H's plumbing was the problem
Also trying to be there in spirit by putting away a few beers. Not really working though, as drinking alone by a PC in not quite the same as freezing ya b******s off with a bunch of lunes on a hillside

Back home, unpacked and I've even been for a swim, spa and steam at the gym to unwind.
Many thanks (as ever) to CW, Scoobabe and Boomer for another top notch route. A few hold-ups with traffic but still plenty of quality tarmac to enjoy
If I see another sausage this week, let alone a BBQ'd one...
I think the Soot Mobile didn't do too badly given it's BHP deficit. For the record from meeting CW, Scoobabe, Missy C and Dave on Saturday morning to getting home this afternoon, my trip computer says:
9:02 of driving (not sure if that's just iginition on or engine running though)
36mph average speed
332 miles
40.9 average MPG
Endless miles covered with my foot wedged into the carpet in 3rd, so I'm surprised to see that MPG figure.
Another corker - thanks all

Thanks for a really good weekend
Some fantastic roads on both days so thanks CW and boomer.
And Tavia, any time you want to borrow the van, let me know.
It might slow you down on the bloody corners
Bye for now

Thanks CW, Boomer & Scoobabe for another quality weekend
Boomer, you left one of your list:
- Everyone starting their cars on Sunday morning to check the battery hadn't gone flat!
Tavia, hopefully next time my trusty navigator, Rachael, will be back, and she can get some footage of those flames ....still can't get over having to use 'Skoda' and 'flames' in one sentance!!
CW, nice little route on the way back...most enjoyed
missyc, did you get back ok?
Things to do list...
- bleed brakes (very useful for Epynt)
- scrape 3 thousand flys off the front of the car
See you all again soon, at Kev's bbq perhaps?!
PS does anyone else remember it being warmer at 1am than it was at 6pm?? Perhaps it was all those bbqs on the go????

Well I think the highlights for me are the old favourites of Aber-Devils Bridge- Cymystwyth and the A481
Two Brilliant pubs! Fantastic food, will be using those again!
Thank you all for coming, you make it what it is, pity Mr & Mrs C couldnt make it but we understand
'chelle? look what you are missing!
If I hear another 'Bo!' someone is gonna regret it

I've got some top quality photos of the evening's entertainment...which I will be posting up tomorrow.
PS, I'm open to bribes (Boomer & Tavia might want to commence negotiations.....)

What can I say ?
MASSIVE thanks to Martin and Chris for the organisation, superb weekend, great roads what else can I say I don't think I put the VAG contingent into shame .....
Memories ?
* Fantastic roads
* How quick was ChrisB's oil burner
* All those tandams
* Phoenix Nights
* Falling over on the beach ... in the dark
* 80's revival
* All those BBQ's .. and smoke
A top weekend, I was shattered when I got back though ... Looks like I'll have to look into getting a BBQ sorted !!

Call that a WCT!
The bog should be at least 500yds away AND your camped on a flat piece of the field
After all these years 'spose a time had to come when I agree with you Chell(e]

Ended up being more depressing than anything else

Not fair, Not fair, Not fair!
I'm totally pi55ed off to hear you had a good time without me!!! There is green smoke coming out of my ears, and I'm sure its not because I'm jealous or anything...
4 weeks of medication left... CW, can't you quickly organise another one... - just for me... (but obviously with everyone else there too!!!)
Glad it was fun, thought of you all weekend, sighed at the thought of you all experiencing another "Pheonix night" but was quite happy not to be cold in a tent!
Mummy and Daddy looked after me, in Suffolk for the week, bless them! Will be fit and healthy for the next one - PROMISE!
Rachael
MiisyC... hoped the boys looked after you... I know what they're like!

SELECTA!
Great weekend, glad everyone enjoyed it
think I'll do a list then
*Great crowd, good laffs
*Pushing a P1 uphill
*The odd BBQ or three
*A mad man trying to attack me
*An amusing skoda exhaust
*Fun roads and scenery
*A fat volvo
WCT Institutions.....
*Dancing to really cheesy/dubious music at Phoenix nights. (missyc, it has to be done )
*Night time paddling
*Swimming, after boomer and his "night time camera" had gone
*Talking rubbish on the edge of a breezy welsh hillside till all hours.
Missed, sorry they couldn't share the fun....The Crafts, Heather and Graham.....(Just managed to get in one or two numbers at Phoenix Nights Heather, phew )
Banshi....Missed for his airbed antics and subtle banter. (There's nothing lax about my digits, ya cheeky monkey. You didn't get my phone message then?)
Rachael....missyc did an impromptu bithday cake for Matt's birthday. Get well soon.
Mellow and Slider and the crowd....etc...etc
Gone, but not at all forgotten....
Little Miss WRX......( too many special qualities to list) (Next year, perhaps?)
Many thanks to CW, Tav and Dave, for allowing me to passenger with them. That really is it, I must get a better car again
Till next year then
Edited to spell Rachael's name right
