HANTS PUB MEET

Thanks Jen,
Its a shame I cant get there tonight but I will be there next time and by then I will have the windows tinted, trust Induction kit and prodrive **** on as well.
Quick question on the tinting. The STI8 windows seem quite tinted already so if I go for the 35% job does it make it too dark and difficult to see out? Does your friend with the STI7 think he or she did the right thing. It looks nice but is it practical?

Not holding back with the mods then!
Re: the tints, my comment on ours was that it was alot harder to see in than to see out (don't know why?). As it was also one of my main concerns although I'm not sure if the MY98 windows are as tinted as the STi8's? Rach (STi7) did say she thought the same though I'm sure she'll post on here and make her comments known, or I'll ask her tonight and let you know tommorrow

I havent seen the trust induction kit, but I would seriously consider the PiperCross Viper instead. - Its the dogs do das(developed for Lotus 340R) it doesnt suck power sapping warm air out the engine bay like most conventional induction kits.

tints on my STi7 are great.
As Jen said, very easy to see out, but not to see in.
No regrets at all.

Cheers for the comments on the tints. I will def have 35% all round then.
As for the induction kit my dealer recommends ''Trust''as a manufacturer. They are a jap performance house concerned more about power then noise. This is the case on me exhaust as well. Nice sound but not over the top. Mind you it does look like a drain pipe from the back. Very big single bore

Gary,
Very pleased with the tints on my 7 - as Jen said hard to see in but not to see out obviously there is some difference when its dark but not enough to give any concern . The tint is 35% all round. Looking forward to seeing your 8, soon I hope And I do hope you are going to join us on the Mencap Tour???
Jen,
Ordered a set of Prodrive springs today from Mill Lane and pick them up on Wednesday. Mark's going to fit them and then its off to Powerstation for the ARB and setup. Just got to find some 18" wheels now......
See you later - oh and I've got some sponsorship forms at last !!

Sorry folk's but will not be at the meet tonight.
I have had a really heavy weekend in Birmingham and need an early night.
I will try to arrange a few "on tour" meet's over the next couple of month's.
See you all soon.
Paul.
PS Still no mods!
