Well i have just got back from my dealer having ordered part number 66128SA000 and it is the same one as in Nicks photo.It looks like a perfect colour match to my 03MY dash and only cost £11.16 very pleased.

You'll need to drill a couple of holes in the metal supports that hold in the unit, but that's easy.

 

Nick could you please explain a little further as ICE install happens tommorow thursday and will need to pass on details to fitter.

Can you confirm that part number - where you have an '8', Nick has a '7'.

Looks like Chiark was right! I got the 66128AE today and it is indeed the silver box with damped lid!

STEVE! mine is all silver!in today doesent match my,my02 exactly,never the less is better than a blk blanking plate!
that was the code on my box from subaru uk!
