I was thinking of doing something similar by removing the LH foglamp, bolting some slotted metal strips to the boltholes for it (there are four holes) and bending in a similar fashion to allow a square numberplate to be put in place of the foglamp. I'll post pics if/when I do it.

Hi Sam, the car looks realy good with some tasteful mods.
What rear wing do you have fitted, looks just the right size-not too big like some Ive seen.
thanks

I mounted mine in an EVO style for a while. I was bored at work and decided to make a bracket to fit in the foglamp location holes.

I did make a few prototypes before i got it right though, it had to be spaced out just right, and angled to make the plate fit flush with the bumper angle.

Maybe I won't then -- seeing it has made me go off the idea. I think that unlike an Evo there just isn't enough room between the radiator grille hole and the indicators to make it look OEM -- unless you use a motorbike-sized plate, but the idea was to keep the spacing legal.

Carl,

I thought the same as you and re-positioned as normal after a couple of weeks, it did not look OEM at all.
