The problem is the shell garage is out of the way from where I live, so I have to make an effort to go there

Chris when the time comes for the NBO, I'm sure there will be a few people going up from this area, so we can have our own mini convoy![Big Grin](images/smilies/biggrin.gif)

here here, thanks jon, nice pictures as well with that diddy camera of yours.
did you enjoy the cat & fiddle road on your way back today?
some of the roads we did on the way over to shardlow were much better IMHO,
see you soon,
chris.

hi, no, not yet, I haven't got the nerve up to do it!!
I was tempted on the sunday run, but I had the kids in the back, and would probably given them a major headache.
Will maybe do it for the NBO, or a little test drive first before then,
chris.

I am hopefully very soon about to buy a secondhand subaru impreza 2000 turbo, it is a "v" reg, 1999, 1 owner from new, who is in the SIDC. I am waiting for the previous owner to get in touch, as I have been able to contact the club he is in in cumbria, but until that time it was suggested I post a message here and ask if it would be possible to have one of you guys have a look over the car before I buy?
I will be buying it from Clarks of Cheshire. As you can see, it is high milage, but I have had a look at it, and it really is immaculate, there is not a mark on the paintwork, and I was able to have a good look around the car and check for any accident damage. The one thing that really sold me on the car was the test drive of course! I was astonished at the ability of the car on corners, and its straight line speed had my hands shaking at the end of the drive!
The wife and kids will love it too, as my current car is a 2 door, and the kids are forever moaning about having to climb in the back!
So, what I would ask is that one of you guys who live local to me, and know a thing or two about scoobys, could maybe come over real soon and have a look over the car, check what mods have been done, whether it is worth buying and give me some real world advice.
It has all the paperwork with it, has just had it's 60,000 mile service at 59,000 miles, has practically new toyo T1 tyres on, I think, 17" oz alloys.
I live in STOCKPORT.
If you could sort something out as soon as possible, as I am going to sort out my finance at the garage tomorrow after 2pm, when I have finished work.
Please contact me at cw42@email.com
my current car can be found on my homepage.
Thanks in advance,
chris.

Sort of, I phoned the garage about it a week last wednesday to view it right after i'd viewed another in that area.
never did get to see it, I bought the first one i saw.
If I hadn't been so impulsive we could have been bidding against each other on yours.
Congrats on the purchase, if your anything like me, you'll spend the first few days just saying WOW and grinning like a cheshire cat.
Lets see if this works...
yours.... http://pictures.autotrader.co.uk/ATD_web/servlet/media?id=28862097

YES! It worked, thats the one, which one did you get then, and how much did you pay, I got the dealer down to £10250.
Picking it up next week, as soon as my deposit comes through from EGG, mail me your details, we will have to meet for a drink one evening somewhere local, I'm in stockport, where are you?

This is getting freaky...
We got our loan through egg.
Had to wait for them to send a second set of finance documents though, eventually picked the beast up the other day. Paid £10500 for a 99t with 54k, fssh in blue.
Fitted a magnex backbox today, not too loud yet still turns heads.
To help save you time here's some links i've come across so far..
these are near you....http://www.jap-innovations.co.uk/
where i got my bacbox... http://www.grahamgoode.com/subaru/catalog.htm
I'm over in rotherham, by the way, fun trip over snake pass on the way over for the car, even more fun on the way back over woodhead in the scoob![Smile](images/smilies/smile.gif)
Yeah, we'll have to meet up, i wouldn't mind heading to one of these organised meets.
edit---forgot to say..i'm not saying where i got the car from cos of my question about part ex ethics in the dealer forum![Smile](images/smilies/smile.gif)
