Jye, I can go higher on the cpu and actually overclock my card, so you had better try for 6000, as my score is running 24/7 speed with no ram tweaks/ max stable cpu speed or any other malarkey

/me runs away very quickly
Yeah, I know OC'ing a 9700 Pro is a sure way to get good scores in 2003. I still want an nForce 2 though

Si, not sure what my 2001 speed is, I'll test it when I get the time. And Nick this is my 'old' machine, which is now my MP3 server and firewall. Im building something very 'tasty' for Doom 3 coming out. Will keep you informed

Hehe, it's been a good month since my last upgrade. Getting withdrawls but still getting back on track financially after building the last monster. I think about August time will be the next upgrade. Hell, I might, might just go back to AMD, depending on how their new chips pan out.

The race is on
Know what you mean about finances, its a bit of a killer upgrading perectly good kit with nothing but benchmark scores to show where all your cash has gone. Thats why I'm going to hold off finalising my latest machine till nearer D3 time. Perhaps I might even afford a holiday this year and by then I will have managed to hamster away enough cash without the GF killing me

You really are a f*cking saddo aren't you. You know exactly what happened and that it was absolutely no fault of my own whatsoever.
Hell, at least I can actually build a system that works properly first time and don't go off blaming every manufacturer of my bits when I completely bork it.
You don't have the skills required for using a spanner, let alone building phase change cooling systems when you barely understand the BIOS and how to sensibly test things. You don't listen properly when asking for advice, butcher things half to death and generally are a muppet.
That chip kill thing was the first and last time that I ever, ever take anyone else's advice bar my own.
Sorry, about time I got that off my chest.
Nick.

Well I really don't know of many better than me and at least I pride myself on what I know, how well I do things and attention to detail. I know only too well if/when I do something wrong and that is the difference between you and me. You get stuck upto your neck in something you don't understand and then try blaming everything around you. Bad workman and all that. Why exactly do you think that I have blocked you yet again from Messanger?
You jump in to things far too quickly and need to severely STFW and RTFM more.
Nick.

Now that you say, I thought that was only me who had done that to Si, hehe
LOL, take it easy Nick, It was your very self who told me to lay off Si a few months ago when I questioned his 'skills' as a modder and OC'er. BTW, I think everyone knows who's opinion is worth asking on the PC building front

Not really mates. Most people tolerate him more than all out like hime. He has his moments where he is perfectly fine to talk to then other moments where you just want to shoot him. I put it down to his 'Roid rage' personally
