Yeah Johnny,
Deposit will be in my pocket by tonight.
I now have a full stereo system (head unit, components, 10in sub in carpeted box, 2x 10in three way mids and two four channel amps) and my standard alloys for sale. I'll put a post up about them.

Sorry to bother you on this thread but,
After a period of sustained 'spirited' driving, my RS2000 all of a sudden got very hot. Now when i start it it gets very hot within minutes.
The engine sounds and performs fine still. Any ideas what has happened?
Have i blown a head gasket?
Any ideas how much it would be to fix?

Yeah i'll be at Old Mill Inn on Sun. I won't be showing my car again this year tho cos i've been so busy and not able give the bay a proper clean yet. Also the car is sold and i'd die if someone scrached it or something!!! Are you coming up with RS Grant? If so, he got myy mobile number and you can give me a shout.

Doesn't sound too good. Have you checked the coolant for signs of water/oil mixing? Is there any 'mayonnaise' in the oil filler cap? What is the coolant level like and where does the needle sit on the ford temp gauge. I assume it's like mine and has the NORMAL section on it? Mine sits on the R usually but if i sit in traffic it'll rise to A and then the fan comes on. Have you got a cone filter? They're really bad for upping the temps. It may be due to this as the weathers getting warmer? If you put up a post on the rs2000-16v.com site then i'm sure one of the more technical types will be able to answer and there'll be abotu 10 answers very quickly as opposed to this for sale post! Hope you get it sorted tho.
