Raving mad, my sons friend thinks it's clever to drive at 160mph.

I had a similiar thought to this when I was picking up some parts at a subaru dealership and this "kid" was picking up his modded my99 I didnt think he was old enough to drive from the off.
anyways he came back in as they filled his car up with a tank of petrol, Started conversation and it turns out his Dad bought it for him for passing his driving test and it is insured on his dads company insurance as he owns a bus/haulage firm he doesnt pay a penny it all goes on petrol.
Now im thinking I had a polo for my first car and ragged the pants of it to start with (tsk what a prat i was). Now I bet he will do exactly the same but at considerbly higher speed than a 1.0l polo twister.
Just hope he is still alive as he seemed ok apart from the backwards baseball cap.
but it isnt just Subaru's in this case he could have any car he wanted he just choose a subaru probably for the same reasons we all did.

I think we all want thwe best for our kids but not at the risk of death or injury to them or their friends or anyone else come to that.
I am sure the father did this with good intentions but a bit misguided. Perhps he should have purchased some advanced driver lessons as well.
If this kid has written of two cars already then alarm bells should be ringing with the father/family, insurance company and plod.
If i was that concerned i would contact plod and advise them of the situation and see if they will go visit this lad/father. Maybe prevent a death or injury, believe thay used to call it proactive Policing.
