Our alarm has been playing up all week at work and I've been given the joyful task of assisting with its refit this weekend.

Cleaned it, ,,,took over 2 hrs only to have some dirty bird drop its load on the bonnet [img]images/smilies/mad.gif[/img]

Paul - as far as I know, I am still coming but is dependant on whether I get my car back tomorrow. If so, I will meet you in the village and follow you down [or vice versa] 
I may not have time though to clean my car as I don't expect I will get back with it until latish tomorrow night, so no snide comments from anybody please it will be filthy after being in a workshop for a month!!

whats a suprise. Its tossing down. I'm sure the weather knows ive got new cleaning products to test. Plus the lawn is like a jungle.

Hi all.
Just got back - had to call in a work on the way back
I had a great time, and thanks to all who came. We are a way short of the 15 cars I thought were coming though; 7 of us in the end.
I hope no one got lost trying to find us, especially since we ended up in a different pub! The one we were heading for was packed out, so we went just up the road to another, whith its own car park.
Photos on a new thread in a mo...

Sound job mate. Could have done with few more cars but it was a start . But thanks for organising and to the others who turned up. Only complaint the weather but it shined on us in the end. Look forward to next one i hope.

So what happened to everyone else then? We know Redkop was having electrical probems, hardly suprising though with shady cosworth build quality

£9 mate. Go out off Shrewsbury on Welshpool road. First Village you come to (watch for speed cameras)You will go past big laybye on right. You will come to A pub on right and a right turn, signposted lake Vynwy. Turn right and just follow road it comes up on lefthand side after about 3 miles.

The Loton Park event should be good with a few EVos (friend of mine is very very quick in his FQ300).
Few Cosworths and some mad single seaters.
Saturday practice starts @ 0900hrs to lunchtime and then runs go onto about 1700hrs.
Sunday competition same as above but with a short break during local church service.
I love doing the hillclimbs in the Subaru and this is my first season.

Take the A458 from Shrewsbury (Loton is in the village of Alderbury).
Take the B4393 off the A458 Welshpool road.
Anyone want to meet up before the Saturday runs?
