This was a good thread started and ahaving input from Mike Wood of Prodrive. The tone has now lowered with the last comment started by the thread originator !

Just think about what you have just written because you didn't like a previous opinion. You did have Mike on here. What do you think he would now think.

We want the likes of Mike on here regularly and so we should all act responsibily using the english language in the manner it was mean't

Think about it

Say what you like back but I have made my point

not saying its a bad thread i think its fair question, but i do get a bit fed up with people on here putting some types of scoobys down and the 'mines better than yours thing'. i personally think the performance figures of the PPP are realistic and having PPP on your car would make it a better alround car to drive than just giving it better drag strip speed. sorry if i offended you in any way that wasnt my intention.

Diablo

Yes, the STI is gutless below 4K in non PPP trim, hence the 5.something 0-60 time.

However in PPP trim its definately not gutless, hence the 4.6 0-60 time.

Having not driven a WRX PPP, I reckon that there's probably not that much difference between it and the STI PPP in gears 1,2 & 3, but the STI is a different animal in gears 4,5 & 6, and I reckon that it would be a different ball game between the pair here.

My opinion only.

Shaun
