We've got a woman at work who has a 225 TT Coupe and she was telling me the other week how a lad in a Pug 205 GTi beat her, particularly she said when they got to the twisty bits on the road. She said she expected that as those 205's are really fast.....well yes they are ok but I think she's missing something somewhere.

lol! gotta laff with em!
However no doubt some stuck up bloody TT driver will look down his nose with real disgust at it. I recall someone mentioning stuff about audi drivers being more concerned about whether their car was vallet when they took it in for a service rather than if the correct oil was used.
Maybe we should do a 'why not to go to a TT meet' thread

LOL - some witty comments on both sides have given me a chuckle this evening
I have a friend who I've been trying to talk out of buying a TT for a while now (with the help from Scott Davies, ex-scoob and now Skyline). Even he admits that he wants a "flash" car over a decent car which is good to drive
I drove the FWD 180 round the Ring the other week and wasn't too impressed with it's performance other than I quite like the build quality and the interior - I've been describing it as a "nice" car which has hot hatch performance (i.e. not enough ) (I also had to endure many "just a trim" digs from my fellow Ring companions all weekend too )
I've also heard the non-permanent 4WD really spoils the handling? Any (non-**** taken) opinions on that from anyone?
Play nice now,
Ta,
Matt

yer the none perm 4wd ***** up the whole car, you get some strange noises and then it kicks in right when you don't need it, drove loads of cars before the missus bourght me the bugeye , still makes me smile when a drop a gear and leave a bmw or mgf for dust.
