For those who havent yet ordered, can they do so as soon as

I have agreed with Pete that the group buy will close at end of business Friday 23rd, so if anyone else wants to get in, then do so now and get your name on the list and email requirements to Pete to confirm/place orders

I wont have access to my email tommorrow evening (work are upgrading !!) so if you can update on here

I spoke to Peter yesterday and paid for my boost gauage and pod. He was sorting out the deliveries and said I should get them today.

I'll let you know if I receive them today and if I have any extra gauges or pods

If anyone sees a parcel force wagon driving around with a boost gauge and oil temp and oil pressure gauge let me know!

Yep - my gauges have gone walkabout!

Its not Petes fault as he faxed the details through to the supplier to ship direct but they have put the wrong address on - but no, not just the wrong address - the address is in Newcastle but it has a Wakefield postcode! Nice!

I hate couriers! Bringing back memories of once when i sent a customers dead hard drive (with no backup as it failed during the backup) off to the data recovery people and the courier lost it!! arghhhh! The best comment was - could you send another instead while we find this one! Bloody classic. They found it in the end though.

Ah well, 'hopefully' i may get them tomorrow, if they find them!!!

Omen, sorry to hear they have been lost, hope they arrive shortly, I think my Pod arrived today, but unsure, as postie left a note saying summit was delivered, and I cant collect until saturday

I've received some e-mails from Pete explaining the problem with the pods. The manufacturer ran out of materials with the influx from the Groupbuy. Pete told me my pod is being sent out today for delivery tomorrow - they're coming direct from the manufacturer.

Since Pete's moving house today/tomorrow he'll have no net access from tonight until next week, so it's best to call himm if you want anything sorted quickly.

Just like to thank Steve and Pete for sorting this out for us. Well done lads

Well still no joy! Think my gauges have gone on the Autometer Tour of England 2003!

Apparantly they are on the right wagon (obviously not a scooby wagon) and should be delivered today but i dont believe them. In 6 years of been in the building weve never had a courier delivery past 2pm. Bloody ParcelFARCE!

Ill just be glad to get them for the xmas at this rate! This happens to me all the time! Nightmare.

Can't fit them yet anyway, got to get a custom pipe made for the oil pressure sender. Any ideas for suppliers of that?

Ive found this site useful for fitting instructions http://www.chiark.com and click on the scooby heading.

On here there are also links to sites that provide bits of pipes etc which you may find handy.

It does however say on here that the autometer oil pressure sender is the wrong thread for the scooby!!!! Erm... anyone?

I think im going to fit the gauges and pod and boost pipe, but just run wires out for the other 2 and fit later when ive figured it out more! Dont want to take summat out that i cant refit and cause a leak! eek!

I haven't had a chance to look at the new ones yet, but when I fitted my boost gauge I rethreaded the Autometer fixing to work with the Impreza. I see no reason (yet) why it can't be done for the others...

Nic says that postmen obviously eat post. Therefore you should feed them unwanted junk mail.

 

Hmm, I'm not sure about the look of the Ultra-lite gauge. I think I prefer the Phantom with the white face

I don't think Pete would swap it as I've opened the shrink wrap at the back of the box

Would anyone be interested in buying it off me?

According to the Autometer website, the 4303 has silver face/silver bezel, but the 4404 has white face/silver bezel - bugger

Wonder if Pete will swap for a 4303? will phone him tomorrow to see.

im just concerned that the pod wont match my dash.

im sure my dash is grey, whereas others are black.

that pod looks very dark to me

I spoke to Pete about this today, as when I took the pod out of the box, I thought Nooooo horror it is jet black, and my dash is dark grey

However I went out to the car with said pod, and it is only a touch darker, virtually unnoticeable, it is slighty darker side by side to my 60mm pod, but probably a better match

and looking through the windscreen, it looked the same
