Luke
Sorry you just seemed willing to take any expensive head phones rather than having a set model you wanted.

Years ago i bought a set of mission speakers which What HiFi ravered about and with in two weeks i relised that with the other items i had they sounded terriable and it took me a year before i could afford to sell them on and buy some thing i could listern to so now i am very careful about Demoing any thing before i add it to my system even if i have to pay a little bit extra for the service.

Ive listened to the Grado 80's and the Floats.

Only trouble with the floats is they fall off all the time!!

Corrado..........let me know if you have the complete set up...I might be interested in making an all in offer.......

I'm working 12's 'til tuesday, so I'll look for the switching unit then.

Tried some Enya on them after reading your layer posts, sweet.

Luke ~ Pop down to Turnkey in Ch x Rd. Its a pro place with demos possible on everything. Good prices too.
Fiddling with me new phone during Eurovision to write this. UK were SO BAD, SO off key. Disgraceful! Ohh and remember to get 'digital' ones

Diesel,
What do you mean by DIGITAL headphones? Apart from a few exotic products like the £10000 Orpheus with its bespoke valve amp/DAC (even on these the actual headphones are analog), all 'phones are analog.
Many cheap (Japanese) manufacturers jumped on a marketing bandwagon when CD came along touting that their cans were DIGITAL or DIGITAL READY, but even my grandads pre-war bakerlites can be used with a CD player as you either run the ANALOG sound through your ANALOG amp to the 'phones or use the built in socket (cheap CDP's) which is simply a tiny ANALOG amp tapped in after the DAC/OpAmp.
They're all ANALOG.

I think I better go sit down, I feel a little stressed.

Call it £60.

Better a little less in the pocket, than none lying around.

Done, I have been!

No, hate metal. Female acoustic singer/songwriters Floats (geddit?) my boat.

I'll find that switching box 2moro, email me on davidwatsonok@yahoo.com to trade addresses. I'm in Leeds, just in case we're only spitting distance away !

PS. I've got some acoustic foam I'll throw in, so you can even repair them!

I'll say it again as I am sick of people getting ripped off and making the wromg choice... Just make sure they are DIGITAL READY and come with an Ethernet card so none of that old analogue squijy boll@cks - straight thru in digital with no loss of quality
