Pete

Now you know what it's like to organise something, think of the problems I had with the Paintball!

It's so frustrating sometimes, I mean, how long does it take to type out a simple mail saying "Aye" or "Nae"?

Hey Gordon.

As every1 knows, this isn`t the 1st one of these I`ve arranged, but goin by the lack of comitment being shown it may well b the last one for general attendance. We may end-up just goin back to the closed group format in future (folk we can depend on) which is why i`m sure there`s summin up with Alans comms ATM cos he is Mr dependable himself.

Every1 has been emailed directly (I have no intention of doing that again) The deadline is set and it WILL be stuck to.
Hey I`m not doin this for my benefit and there is no gain what-so-ever for me outta this. Hell it was easier last year to arrange 3 consecutive dynos (running approx 42 cars) than this 1

Anyway off 4 some zedz m8 (grumpy head is startin 2 show )

Pete as said in mail evo is now sold and gone replaced with an M3 (but not run in yet and probably shouldn't have the **** revved out it for at least another 1000 miles!!) Would still run if numbers needed could bring the cooperS if you like and walk away with the lowest power but most noise award!!! Either ways I'd still defo like to come and watch.

OK peebs,

1. Kick-off is at 09:30 on Sunday (want 1st car on the dyno at that time).

2. Run cost confirmed with Jim 2day (£35)

3. Dundee meet usual place (riverside snack bar) at the end of the airport for leaving as close to 08:50 as possible. So we don`t need 2 go nuts en-route. If anyones commin 2 the meet lemme know in advance by email (a contact number would be good as well)

4. The airfield is a non starter this time (incase any1 hasn`t been following the build up threads)

5. Running order will be up by the end of today (so watch for that)

6. DRIVE SAFE N LETS ALL HAVE A GOOD DAY

BTW any1 who wants on early lemme know asap.

C u all there peebs

Would be nice if Andy F, Alan G and myself could be fairly close together in the running order as I won't have time to stay all day but would like to see their runs

Could I maybe get a later run as I'm not going to be able to get to bed until 4-ish the previous 'night'? I can be there sharp if necessary though. Also, any run-down of the types of car going to be there? Cheers,

Can someone please bring a set of ear defenders with them?

I can do with a pair as my exhaust is that loud I can't hear myself think whilst driving. Imagine what it's going to be like inside a building?

Aye it was a good day but I was slightly disappointed myself. Actually I think everyone's figures were down due to the warm weather.

Neil, I had a standard ECU with a SS exhaust system last time and made 297 BHP. But this time, with a Ecutek ECU and a SS system it made 303 BHP but the torque was down from last time???????

I suppose the last time I went on the rollers was in February when it was bloody freezing but i thought it would have got more torque as mine's feel stronger on the roads now than before.

Anyway, it was still good to see old faces and meet new people and this was the first time my fiancee tagged along. She said that everyone she spoke to were very friendly and she enjoyed the day out too.

Sorry I didn't make it peeps, I was still mapping my new Microtech ECU on the run across this morning and managed to blow an exhaust gasket in a 'moment' of overboost ! I guess I asked for that after re-using the gasket 3 times
Turned round and slowly pottered home sounding like a sick VW beetle

I was reasonably happy with my 444bhp although I think it would have been a fair bit more on a colder day. Last time I got 420bhp but that was in Feb. The car is much faster now than then, more than an extra 5% or so would suggest. Also a 'blip' in the drag curve which reduced the flywheel output by about 10-15bhp. Could also do with the fuelling a bit leaner at high revs - lot of unburnt fuel today! A good day though and enjoyed the magical mystery tour home when I took a wrong turning. Ended up in Pitlochry! Got home just after 6pm! Cheers to everyone, esp. Pete and Jim etc.

Cool

Thanks to every1 who attended for making the event a good un
Weather was on our side from 1 POV bat against us from another.
BIG thanks to Jim & the lads for giving up their free time to enable us to hold the event today, much appreciated by all.

Incidentally one of the first cars we ran today was soley for a ref reading and was consistant with expected power.
We all know that recently there has been a lot of work, time and effort spent by Jim and a number of members on the board to ensure the figures are as accurate as possible.
So please before anyone who didn`t achieve there "wished for numbers" questions their result. Remember we are fortunate enough to have a dyno owner/operator who listened to our concerns and actively assisted in the quest for a "perfect dyno" which as far as the testers (from the Scoobynet membership) are concerned we now have.

We all know the ambient temperatures effect the readings (but I must stress here that not by a significant amount as the guys know exactly what they are doing and on the scoobs at least (as some of you may have noticed) use a water spray to assist in keeping the intercooler temperatures constant on the TMIC fitted cars.

So please before it starts lets not have any of the "but he said" or "i thought" etc etc that seems to be consistant after these events. And before any1 asks NO big red didn`t run I didn`t have time to change the coils and remap, but hey there`s always next time

Thanks again folks

Pete
