cheap TOYO s

What a cool marketing ploy... advertise at 50% off the RRP, whip up interest - take the orders... then back out and tell customers they can have the tyres at 10% off if they still want them.... AND have the legal side covered.
Should get a medal for that

Why the hell are they suddenly back in stock all of a sudden?
Is it beacuse they have cancelled all the orders at the **** up price of £50
I thought he said a wait list of 7 weeks!

Interesting that I sent them a stinking e-mail last night, saying how unhappy I was about this, and they seem to have now strangely dissapeared once again from their list, it seems they just don't wanna know!!!
Also, I noted that the Goodyears have *** next to them, which means they're delayed too!!!

Ordered 1 Toyo T1S 215/35/18 tyre on Tuesday. Got a phone call today to say they have not got them in stock for another 7-8 weeks and I had to cancel my order.
When I asked the man why they were advertising them on their web site, I was told they should have not been on there and there has been a mistake.
Oh well there loss!

I knew it was too good to be true
Just been through the site and all Toyos are missing once again. I’ve just checked all the other countries sites and some have the Toyos listed some don't.....those that do still work out at £72+ though (based on 205/50/16). Barstewards.

I called their bluff when they called to say my order of 215/40/17's was unavailable. I told them the 'out of stock' delay was fine and to hold the order (at same price obviously) until the tyres were available. I said I could wait 6-8 weeks anyway. After listening to the chap squirm for a few minutes he eventually said they couldn't hold the price and 'urged' me to cancel the order. Muppets.
They'd do well to come clean and admit their mistake - might save them losing a few customers altogether ! Their tyres still appear to be comparibly cheap though, even at the 'proper' price.
Thought it was too good to be true. Shame I was proved right.

When I saw that on Wednesday they were back on their site, I decided to send that a stinkin e-mail, I ranted on about how they had clearly lied about them not being available etc, I got one back saying that no matter what was on the site, he assured me that they were not available to anyone, no matter what the price, I blabbed on about how lots of peoople on here had ordered etc, but they still weren't available, I think this proves that when something looks too good to be true, it probably is!!

Hi All,
Just thought it might be of use. Ordered 2 Proxes (205/50/16's) from my local tyre shop (GT Tyres) on Friday. Getting them put on Monday. Cost £80 a tyre, which I thought was pretty good.
They are in SE London, number is 0208 699 3631, friendly and helpful chaps.
Cheers
Steven
