Its not an ending, its just where the film stops If it was an ending it would wind down to a conclusion and either leave you to run with the rest of the story in your head or tie up the loose ends. Not sure how many times I have to say this but Reloaded is NOT a film in its own right and can't be judged as that

The whole film needed reworking. I'm sure that given Reloaded I could cut 30 mins from the film and make it better. In particular the ministry of sound rave party in the middle of Zion(sp?) was totally uncalled for and as for Morpheous dialogue, I could have written somthing better. It was just an excuse for more TnA.

They lost the sense of the real world in the second movie. None of the real world locations used had any sense of feeling about them.

There were too many villains. In the first movie it was a clear cut good guy versus bad guy movie, Neo and the guys vs. The Matrix. In this film it's "The new and improved Mr Smith", the upgraded agents, the backdoor programs, the twins from Better Homes, etc

The whole movie seemed like aload of set pieces strung together by a completely unfocused plot. I was the trailer for Revolutions and I find it hard to imagine just how this franchise can be saved!

On a plus note I bought the McFarlane Matrix toys, including Neo doing a handspring in the lobby scene, pure class!

If you were disappointed by Rehashed, I mean Reloaded go and see EQUILIBRIUM, it put a smile on my face!

EQUILIBRIUM!!!!

There are loads of other pointers to the Zion in Matrix theory.

How can they know what Neo is dreaming if he is outside of the matrix?

How can the scenario be played out 5 times previously if each one lasts 100 years? In Zion they think its what..? 2199 or summit, we have a serious time deficit there...

there are some others that I thought of but have forgotten

Anyway, i like that film. Its better than the previous one. I wne to to see it with quite a big crowd and over a beer afterwards it seems that only about 50% actually liked it, as they wanted just MORE fighting, blowing up etc and less head **** Arcitect stuff...

A note on the sound track. Not as good as the last one. A bit of Linkin Park, Paul Oakenfold, but they should have just played the Evanescence album over and over in it

Re Tank - apparently he lost the plot during salary negotiations and has now been charged by the studio for stalking.
His character was written out once this happened.
I agree with the Matrix within a Matrix theory as this is backed up by the old concellor who had the machine chat with Neo - also have you noticed the make-up of the council 17male and 8 female the number that would rebuild Zion.
Unfortunately the whole architect scene was confusing to say the least and added to the fact that the oracle was a computer programme who may or may not be trusted means this film can be taken many different ways.
From a personal point of view however I will have to see the next installment if only to figure out this film.

My interpretation is that the control the machines have us under is an illusion they created through the Matrix. They actually need to be under our control because that's how they were designed - hence Neo's magic powers
