Yeah I know mate...but not as much loss as losing the car or getting bits taken off it.

The way I see it is that it is a buyers market out, so although I will loose £1k on this one...I will save it on the next purchase.

Undecided at the moment...had lots of interest off the on line add on the Autotrader. May stick it in the mag on Monday for £6995 and see how I go.

I could get £6k all day long for it so may hold out for a better offer...need to make a choice by tonight as he wants it tomorrow

Matt,

Stick it in the Autotrader mag for £6995. I'm sure you'll get a buyer at that price.

I am not giving it away to anyone.....there are no others out there like this...believe me I looked.

I don't need to sell it to buy another car...have the cash. Just I don't want it sat there.....decision time I think.

If someone offers 6.5k cash I would take it but anything under that is just to hard to swallow at the moment.

Like i said on Turbosport!

A shame as you have only just got it!

I personnaly would only use it at the weekends anyway!

Good luck with either the sale or the well being of the car.

THERE IS - I own one.

lovely car mate - I know what you mean - parking etc. - I only use mine the odd weekend here and there - and have runabout for the week.

they are getting rare in good condition - most on autotrader are nothing like described in the ads.

Sorry mate no offence intended.

It is just like you say, they are described as mint and when you turn up they are fcuked.

Oil Leaks, bad body work and a lack of routine maintance. These are the ones up at around the 6k mark as well

no offence taken - I knew what you meant.

I looked at loads (as everybody does) when buying, and your right - they all want £6k ish - and most are crap.

mine cost more than your selling yours at - 3 months ago - and I've just spent £1000 to get it 100%.
(but I am a finicky sod).

its my fourth cossie - if I had not bought mine 3 months ago - I would have had yours.

all the best

Sounds like a minter...and you are right, no matter how nice they are you always have to have 500-1000 put away to do stuff to it.

I have done that already so somebody buying this now needs to spend nothing on it at all.

Ninja you have mail....please get back to me thanks Matt

It was sold but the guy was messing me around after he left a deposit so I gave him it back and told him to go and annoy someone else.

Some one coming from Newcastle tomorrow evening so should go then. Also James YHM and sorry Mr Palmer were moving at the moment so really busy.

I promise I will show you the car before I get rid of it....
