Another success story here. I've been on induction for about 2.5 weeks and have lost just over a stone, from just under 13.5 to 12.5 and still going strong .

It's great, I have no problems taking my top off in this weather where as before I was pretty self concious about my excessive gut.

Can't recommend it hightly enough.

Thumbs up

I'm on my 6th week and am down 2.5st. Had a wooly head in the 1st week, a bit lethargic for the 1st 2 but now I'm used to it it's brilliant. Did a 6 mile walk in 2.5hrs last week and it was easy-peasy. Could've done the return but it was getting dark. 9 weeks ago if I'd tried that it would have taken me 4hrs and the return would have been a "no way". Weight loss seems to have stalled a little in the last week so I'm thinking it's time to add some more exercise. I really want to lose at least 1st more before re-introducing carbs and going for the tone up.
Foodwise I eat hardly any more meat than I used to, but I do eat more green veg and salad. I don't feel as hungry and usually have to tell myself I should eat rather than feel I must.

lol at Tiggs - excuse me for cracking a joke about diets!

guess i'm lucky for not being a lard bucket but the Atkins thing is just another in a long line of farcical diets which will be deemed bad for you at some point. A balanced diet with exercise cannot be bettered IMO.

or eat less and ****e more

(WTF has this to do with Ladas?)

Sugar free jelly

Day 2:

sugar free jelly with desert spoon whipped cream

Day 3:
Scrambled egg, 2 slices bacon, 1 tomato
10 olives

Mini babybel cheese
sugar free jelly with desert spoon whipped cream

Today:
2 slices bacon, 2 scrambled eggs
chicken and bacon with 2 boiled eggs and mayo.
