To reiterate what John has said already, the Cumbria and Tyne Tees Scoobies RV 10:00 for 10:15 departure from the sevices Southbound at Scotch Corner at the join of the A66 and A1M so it is ideal for all Scttish Scoobies, either M74/M6/A66 or East Coast A1M. Slange.

 

Update; We are not coming Sun Morning...we are leaving Sat night for NBO. As you know several of us are coming down from Aberdeenshire. Some leaving today, tonight and some more tomorrow night. One of the boys is working untill 6 pm, so we'll be leaving Aberdeen after that.

We are heading for Carlisle, Penrith area Sat night and we are heading for Scotch corner for 10am and we'll be on the A66 from the M6 for 9am I guess. If any of you guys will be on the road at this time and fancy hooking up with a couple of Scottish Scoobys let me know.

Pete: Light Water Valley is just under 170mls from centre of Edinburgh. A68 Jedburgh,A696 Otterburn and Ponteland, past Newcastle Airport and A1M South. RV 10:00 Scotch Corner Services Southbound for convoy for last 20 odd miles. Edinburgh to Scotch is about 2.5hrs on a brisk but sensible Sunday morning but keep your eyes peeled for speed cameras in the Borders. Only one on the English side however approx 2mls South of Belsay at the Highlander Pub.

Wouldn`t b a prob 4 me gettin 2 Scotch corner as our other factory is in Leeds so have done Dundee 2 Leeds a good few times in the pool car (would make a change doin it in a real 1 )
Haven`t found a willing co-pilot yet n times runnin out.
Milage is less than i thought though that makes it only 250 miles each way, 500 miles round trip = just under 4 tanks of go-go juice Asked the wife if she wanted 2 go but she`s avin none of it
