“Saying that, a fast bend at 120 saw me reel him in a little, though he may have thought he'd done the business, or given me some false hope”
Or he had a social conscience and realised the stakes were too high……

out in the new car today, just cruising, when I spied a 2 yr old 911 Turbo - thought i'd give it a go.
Along a very fast dual carriageway that may be near Nuneaton, I found that although my car is quick, it doesn't hold a candle to that - pissed all over me it did. Oh well, fun trying anyway.
Saying that, a fast bend at 120 saw me reel him in a little, though he may have thought he'd done the business, or given me some false hope - he was already 10 car lengths ahead!

I won't lie, I'd have a go for a laugh if nothing else just to see how fast the 911 is

hehe, LMAO at the handbags...
MadJay, notice that he is reporting on two high performance cars having a little race with each other. Not in town or anything...
what gives the maxpower reputation is the saxos and the corsas trying to race ANYTHING, pull up next to a mondeo and they try it on!!!
now were not talking about every saxo or corsa, but the majority of the boyracers. These sort of people drive AROUND TOWN at stupid speeds, causing crashes and getting attention from the police. it is these sort od ****** that put up your insurance, not those who restrain themselves till a sutible time and place!!!
and if you really dont like scoobys or the antics of the drivers then i got two words..

well i`ve been told by SOME people on here that cruises are almost evil, and the thourght of watching a scooby driver doing some sweet 360 power donuts was utterly terrible (not my thourghts!)
....but now racing cars on public highways and almost DOUBLE THE SPPED LIMIT is ok???
sirs....i think the local plod will beg to differ!!
(hids behind sofa waiting for replys!!)

Its not just Saxo drivers that drive fast. I was overtaken by a scooby on the M8 the other day and he was doing about 120mph. It was far from deserted! I wasn't bothered though
