Sounds like the it would be a good buy for your use
The only thing I can think of that you should check out is if it was one of the ones recalled for a minor wiring (??) fault. It was nothing major just might be worth checking if its been inspected and if necessary fixed.
Can't remenber the detaisl now as it was sometime ago, but only a very minor thing IIRC

driven a 206 on plenty of occasions and can't stress enough whats been said about the pedels being so close together, borders on dangerous for me, mind i am a big bugger though.
I had a W plate 206 GTI and did 12k miles in it over 12 months. Now, I've got size 10+ boots and I'm no ballet dancer but I can't remember once having pedal problems.

You guys crease me up....soooo concerned about being seen as 'gay' just because of the car being driven
Doesn't it strike you as slightly ironic that these same men are so inconfident they need the perceived talisman protection that some cars offer!
I'm sure real men don't give a flying *** about such intangible things....they are too busy fighting off the woman after asking them "Do you want a go in my 206cc gay car"

My comments were not meant to be derogatory (I own one) and I’ve never said they were gay as I drive my wife quite often on a sunny day. LoL she even has a reg plate reading *** LYN and I still drive it about.
My wife also has one (T*HRA), and I think it's a great car for the money. Seems responsive enough, looks cool, good for some top-down motoring, plenty of toys in the SE spec (climate control, etc.). You must have the red 'n' black leather interior and the chrome hoops, though.

No not from around there, we're sussex based.
ERM
Ours is in the dealers tomorrow for some warranty work so I will ask them to take a look at the roof catches at the same time.
Cheers for the input

My mates G/F has a CC 1.6. Some roof seal went and got all wet in the car. Took weeks to fix as it was a common problem and dealers had probs getting the replacement parts in.
The 206cc IS an effeminate looking car in the same way as a TVR Tuscan is a masculine looking car. Effeminate looking cars appeal to women and masculine looking cars appeal to men. Doesn't mean the driver is gay or not.
Mind you, I've never seen a woman or camp looking guy driving a TVR and rarely see a 206CC that is not driven by a woman or camp looking bloke. I'll wager that the stats (if there were any) would back this up.
