Detectors need to be placed close to front and rear vertical surface i.e. Index Plates and on the screen front and rear for over bridge detection.
So you will need four detectors and reaction times in tents of a second.
THE TIME HAS PASSED FOR DETECTORS , MOVE ON.
GPS is your only chance, maybe a Road Angel with detector ???

Not sure how relevant this info will be now but it might be worth looking on www.speed-trap.co.uk
