Ok, I'm a ****! I went in to see why they were taking so long, and realised that although they were uploaded you had to "publish" them to the gallery, Ho Hum, apologies but they are there now.

Did not get my flaps, the garage did not order them because the part was not for a MY03 and was told that the old new age profile was not the same as the MY03.

Scoobysport want £199.99 for four plain flaps
Subaru want £350 for a se of four flaps with Subaru logo!

The garage also want £25.00 to fit them on top of the Subaru price

Why are they so expensive?

Red face

*****!!!!???? All that for 4 mud flaps ??? never worth it, look up your local signwriter and see what they would charge for 4 Subaru stickers.... get the plain ones from Scoobyworld at simply stick the logos on yourself, that's a little more cost effective.
Also have a look around on here for people with their complete car lettered up in rally trim, there is someone on here that supplies them with the stickers, maybe they can help......

Ajax, I cant believe that Subaru have changed the wheelarch and bumper profiles on the 03, surely it was just the front end and back lights, pity you dont live close by I could have offered them up to the car,

jaf01uk: Thanks for the offer, bit of a round trip that one
The problem is if they don’t fit, they wont take them back and wont order the wrong sort in any case.

Silver Scooby Sport: I have done a search on scoobynet, can’t see an easy way out of it.
Good point about the local sign writer

Just got to find a supplier for wrx flaps first, all I know is that I am not alone in my quest.

The Subaru ones do look nice

Cool

Scoobyboy:I take it my comments have been fair on scoobynet and I am not blaming anybody at the garage.

But would you spend nearly £400 on four flaps from Subaru and they only supply them for the STI.

I would like to think I would get more help from the people on scoobynet, but others have research the subject and not got very far.

I know because I have done a search.

I really must get valet mode sorted on my alarm, dam funny when Blakjax cut in and set the alarm off immobilising the vehicle.

Made me laugh!

I have the £400 pounds flaps yes they look good but you want to get in touch with ed case he got a pair of reps cheap look just has good. By the way I did`nt pay for the flaps the garage did after parking my car under a tree and covering in tree sap so it had to be re-zymoled

I've ordered these flaps from Scoobyworld and am just waiting for the brackets to be delivered and then they'll go on my WRX 03.

Cheers.

Its just the car had been zymoled, So it had to be done again,They wanted me to pay £200 towards them, So I sad "keep the car and sort the pant work out", In the end they paid for the lot,Oh and the fitting. The fact that the flaps were on the car when they phoned me may had something to do with it

Just a thought, if the sti mega expensive 01/02 flaps fit, why do the ordinary cheaper ones not?
I had a look at the 03 side deflector thingy's that mount onto the sideskirts and they are the same as the 01/02, something funny goin on me thinks

Cool

jaf01uk:
Thanks for the pointer, I would have hoped to have found something more local and had a look at them.

Maybe I will see something at Billing JAE or even Trax2003

Mind you we are talking gold dust, when speaking about Subaru Flaps

Anybody with Subaru Flaps for sale, bring them along to JAE Billing you will make a killing, everybody seems to want them.

Unhappy

Thanks for that pbee.
Well I never did got my my03 flaps and sort of gave up, thinking the only way out was to make some or do without.

Can’t believe obtaining them should be a problem.
