I'm maybe being incredibly thick here and it wouldn't be the first time! but I cant work out why the £400 STI flaps for the 01/02 model fit the 03 with the same part number, but the cheaper ones apparently dont fit although both types are the same fitment,

 

Flat Eric posted on my other post about mud flaps, the fronts fit fine, but the rear bumper has a groove in the bumper so where the mudflap fits flush on the 02 bumper there will be a gap on the 03. would still fit ok just will not look as nice.
