BOING!

Week and a half to go peeps and no meeting place arranged! Ideas? Bught park would be ggod but it's in the centre of town. Would you all be okay with that or would you prefer to meet @ the retail park just out of town?

All others still coming along?

Clutch fitted this weekend ready for a blast on the 2nd!

Probably the retail park at Tescos/Cinema would be best. Always plenty of room. And Burger King

Fancy a run down to Fort Augustus on the A82 to see a little of the Highland Car Clubs gravel sprint between 10am and 5.30pm?

Details can be found at http://www.highlandcarclub.co.uk

Hope you have fun,

Robert

Okay,

Tesco retail park it is then, near burger king is usually the quietest place.

What about times? I'm flexible coz I live locally but need to know times from the guys travelling a distance.

What do you think?

Unhappy

Sorry guys
Looks like I'm out now. Either broken my ankle or ripped all the ligaments while out with the dog today. Won'tbe able to tell until I get another x-ray on Monday when the ankles has returned to its normal size. At the minute it looks like a melon. Can't drive too well with the crutches
Really looking forward to it as well.

OUCH! Hope you get better soon Alas. Sounds silly but you'd probably be better off it was a clean break. I know a guy who ripped his tendons about seven years ago and he still gets pains now and again.

Anyway, take care. See you at another meet I'm sure!

Question

Sorry about the lack of posts from the North but I've just moved house! Doing all the fun things like carpets and curtains just now so am struggling to get the word around as I have to use dads computer just now. I'm still hoping to make it to Inverness but I would have to leave at 1430 at the latest to make it home for 1630. Meeting place seems like a good idea but your better sticking to the section behind the pizza hut as all the other areas are heaving on a Saturday especially at this time of year!
I'll try and keep in touch and hopefully get a few more scoobs down as well.

Exclamation

SiPie:

11am for 11:30 in the retail park car park between pizza hut and the Tesco garage.

Definitely going ahead.

If only people would respond on the thread this doubt would not creep in!

Steve,

it would be helpful if you could post up a map for everyone going so that they can find it easily.

I know where the big retail park is, but some people travelling up the A9 might not ?

OK people, so far we have a list that seems to add up to the grand total of 2 cars Please add yourself to the list if we want this to work out and get a H&I meet off the ground.

I have planned three different looped routes for a run out on Saturday from Inverness assuming we are up for this and have some late interest We should select a route on the day, each route having a lot to offer. Should take about 2 ½ hrs driving depending on road conditions and not forgetting the weather

Route A is 147 miles long
Route B is 146 miles long
Route C is 160 miles long

Hey I would love to attend but have no way of getting there this Sat as I am awaiting new rear discs for my current car. I will be buying a uk T or V reg turbo mid to late Aug. Then i would be happy to attend a Aberdeen or Inverness meeting. Any buying advice for a MY99 or MY00 ? It will be from a dealer

Cheers

John, Good idea with the map. Can't find a site that will let me save then upload though and none have the retail park clearly marked.

If anyone does not know the way, please mail me and I will sort it for you.

I REALLY hope there's going to be more than 3 people going!! We'll have to start wondering if it's really worth having soon.

Don't want you guys from Abz travelling all that way just for 3 or 4 cars meeting up!!

Is it still going to go ahead then?
