Steve, Toby,
Lets quit while we are ahead as they say! No pint in keeping this going any longer for the time being
Suggest we come back and try again when more folk are available. Quite possible the trades holiday season is having a bad effect and I know some of the locals from way up North are either working or offshore.
How about Alford on Sunday I will be there with the Sti all ready to give Tut a run for his money It won’t be RobD chasing him, but it will be the "twin car", another "sorted" Sti7 putting the pressure on the pensioner; can a Scooby take the glory
Absolutely, I hear you say
Jools

Oh well, we tried at least
What's this about alford then? Any prices? How easy to find? Much more coin to take the car on the track? etc etc.
Might be up for that if the missus is keen.

Steve,
If you want to meet the Inveruire gang and have some fun Alford is the place to be this Sunday. Sounds like me m8 RobD will be home, so we will have some fun for sure. More blue Sti7's than you can count....
It cost 3 quid to take the car on the very small sprint track and it's all for fun. Alford is always a great meeting point and you could take some great back roads to get there from your end.

I think there will be mroe than just the 2 blue STi's there
Alford is on the A944 about 25 miles west of Aberdeen. As Jools said, there are some great back roads you can take to get there from your neck of the woods.
Starts about 9:30am, and goes on all day until about 4pm, though most people have normally had enough track sessions by about 3pm, and then relax in the sun etc.

Safe to say you can probably expect to see another sti there
Don't know about going on the track though coz I imagine you would still need track day insurance.(?)
Will try and make it down for the crack though.

Read my post a few above yours.
Track insurance - I don't think anyone has bothered for Alford before. Speeds are relatively low, and you don't need to push your car that hard to have fun.
