I've had pigeon pie- sorry-Rock Dove 
a few times, and it is very nice. I have eaten rabbit many times, it has a delicate and very pleasant flavour. It used to be part of the staple diet when meat was rationed.
Fishing not too good yet Moses, but it should start to get better soon. The Sea Bass have arrived at our end of the Bay.

Possibly not in Alaska, but I can assure you every city in the lower 48 has their share of them.
In the lower lattitudes of the mountainous areas there are still the wild variety. No difference at all from their city cousins.
