Passed first time 5 days after 17th birthday, passed my advanced driving a month later. (had being driving for previous 2 years on the farm) Had first accident 6 weeks later when women drive into back of my dad's Lotus @ traffic lights. He was not happy !!

I passed 1st time after a good few lessons, although I was 20 when I sat my test. Then after I found a car I wanted & could afford, I got insurance, then crashed a week later 
The thing is, It was less than 5mph, and I the car in front looked as if It had pulled out the junction, and I was looking over my shoulder 
I never crashed my Impreza though
I was well chuffed at that

Passed first time, having had no lessons at all, at the tender age of 17, and 4 months! it was in my car, which was at that time, don't laugh, a Fiat 500, cute little thing, even thinking about buying another now, trouble is, I paid £40 for mine, and niow their going for up to about 5k!!!!

Passed 1st time after one lesson, plenty of time spent in my twin brother's 1275 GT though (was later mine).
Passed in a Metro one litre in the snow!!! total test time 20 mins!
PS. Those were the days, when a 17 year old could pass their test and then teach someone else.

past first time in a fiesta i had never driven before the test, after 3 one hour lessons in a mini that wasnt available for the test. I didnt have a car of my own to practice with either.

Passed first time waaaaaay back in 1979.
And even further back, also passed my cycling proficiency test....
....but came second to my sister on points (she was top in the class).

Passed 1st time 3 days after my 17th birthday. Managed to last nearly two hours before I put my fathers car into a field backwards at about 80. Luckily I only had to negotiate a small chickenwire fence to get into the field, so no real damage.
A mate was doing his emergency stop on the test. Hit a patch of oil, hit the kerb, removed a wheel, did a 270 across the road into the test centre carpark and damaged 6 parked cars. For some reason he failed

March 1979 passed bike test 1st time, 1 month after 17th birthday (no lessons in those days).
Oct 1979 passed car test, 3rd time after 9 lessons.
April 1987 passed Class 1 HGV 1st time.
April 1988 passed PSV class 1, 1st time.
No accidents that have been my fault (except maybe the kitty litter at Paddock)
just passed PADI Open Water Diver, now for the Advanced.

Passed first time back in 1984, after a couple of lessons, driving my Morris 1100 - who remembers them?!
Mind you - I did get lots of practice driving my Dad on the 30 mile round trip to work beforehand.
Most apprehensive part of the day was walking back into the factory after the test as all the lads knew where I'd been - if I hadn't passed I'd have been the butt of jokes for bl00dy ages!
