Really? Never notice other peoples shoes myself. More interested in the person in them, but that's just me.......... WIERD!!

Imho,shoes are the only piece of 'clothing' that you cant go for the cheap option on, they say more about you than any other item
Bought a pair of Church & Co work shoes (suit job
) for £210 thinking "these will last a while and do wonders for my feet" and better than buying pairs and pairs of £50 cheapos 
Well... hurt like **** for a month then were worn / split / scuffed / and re-heeled within 2 months and binned the next month
Agree that you should spend decent dosh and not buy plastic p1sh but there is a balance

I have worn timberlands for the past 8 years, Have 3 pairs of exactly the same design. Still able to wear the pair I bought 8 years ago. once worn in, comfortable as hell.
chukka i think is the model its been 2 years since I got my last pair the name kinda escapes me
Had rockports and lacoste's too the rockports are too clumpy and heavy and the lacoste's fell apart.
the merrels are supposed to be good but havent tried them myself.
