You'll need a day off for the PIRT.
A day off for the physical and thats it if I am correct.
Then you get a letter saying you're in and you hand in your notice.
Ianw will be able to clarify this though.
Go here and it tells you which forces are recruiting and the time frames it takes from application to acceptance. You can also apply online.

Best of luck, mate.
I passed all my tests, etc. in Feb but am still waiting for a start date for the Met.
Is the mobile phone you bought from me ok?

I've toyed with the idea a few times, even speaking to Brun about it. I think to begin with, in my case the specials would be the way to go. However the full time coppers salary isn't as great though so would mean a paycut if i did it full time ![Frown](images/smilies/frown.gif)
A serious question: I got 13 out of 15 on all the tests. Is that good enough to join, as it where. IE Would I be good enough ?
I know it says so on the site, but im after an honest answer![Smile](images/smilies/smile.gif)

I have just got a mail from recruitment telling me that my invite is on it's way.
It said that i will be doing my PIRT in the morning and then my fitness and Interview in the afternoon.
****.....I'd better get out and do some running tonight. I thought that I would have had a bit more time to train for my physical after my PIRT.
Absolutely bricking myself now.
