Used to windsurf in long-gone bachelor days: could get board INSIDE my classic wagon (no passengers!) for increased velocity to coast, but tend to get unnerving front-wheel lift at over 110mph with windsurfer on roof.

Have progressed to kiteboarding as smaller/less kit!
Still haven't cracked it though

That's why all the door panels are transferable!
Apart from on MY01+...

The saloon has flared arches to accomodate changes wanted in part by the rally team. Dunno why the 5 door didn't get them in all honesty, but I don't miss the width

STI wagons are exactly the same spec as 4 dorrs
Nope. Some wagons have higher compression ratio engines in early form. The STI 7 wagon didn't have front suretrac LSD and other bits either.

Nick.

F1- May I ask why you require an auto?

My pal has an auto saloon and I have a wagon.

you can definately get auto wagon turbo`s sooby, one of the models was called a 'gravel express' iirc, had the spare wheel on the outside of the boot lid, like on land rover discovery`s etc

F1- I did think that might be the reason.

Not a Para or Tetra by any chance?

f1- Ok, was just thinking hand-controls etc.

Plus I was thinking about the electric clutch route if you did fancy a newer saloon, so you weren't limited to auto's.
