Sold my scoob-my 2 cents
#61
Everyone has obviously bought the scoob for diffrent reasons some for looks others for how it drives. For people who dont know about scoobies they all look the 'same' even the 'max power ones' so as a result they all get tarnished by the same brush-especially by the local polizia

Im 22 and was only 20 when I got my scooby its A 93 WRX and I had 2
work very hard 2 get it. I dont think its fair to say all youngsters are nutters behind the wheel of a fast car. im not saying i dont use my car 2 its full potential but I never go beyond my or the cars limits. I have never crashed or had 2 claim on my insurance and have no points on my licence even tho I do read Max Power. And I am Picking up my STI 5 TYPE R in 2 weeks
witch I have also worked hard 4

My Terzo was bought from new buy a Guy who was 71 when he bought it in 98.....
What a top bloke I say.... he kept it for 4 and a half years pottered about nicely, loved it, cared for it... no expense spared... full Scoob dealer history and when he bought it he ticked everything on the Prodrive extras menu... 26k in 5 years still with the original tyres....
Now lets be real here... At 71 he's past caring about image he just knows a good buy when he see's one.... He now drives a Bug eye Sti again with all the PPP options... Trust me I shall be looking out for him when he wants to sell on....
I reckon the more wealthy or old people out here that buy scoobs the better, If they don't drive them for what they were designed then that is Excellent... Cos at the end of the day it means there is more Quality Cars out there for the rest of us to pick at....
Do you wnt to buy your next scoob from an image concious 25 year old with a race licence and a direct account with Bridgestone or do you want to buy it from 71 year old Bloke......
Your choice...

So what makes everyone in here SO superior to young max power readers who have finally, after hard graft, splashed out and bought a impreza? I bought mine as it was the best power/handling/image for the money, surely max power readers are going to do the same, shop around for the best car they can buy for the money?

Listy, you have made an inaccurate statement.
Why do you think that an older owner can't drive a Scoob on the limits. The bloke who has been used to driving fast all his life will be just as sharp as a young driver and also has a wealth of experience to draw on. Let also say that those with a racing licence are more likely to save the fast driving for the track where it is safer. Your point about buying a car from a responsible driver is a good one but don't assume too much.
