u talk about unfairly biased view then u ramble on with your unfairly biased views. You can see for yourself what a rabble the tories are,so can many people, hence their constant pi55 poor performance in the polls and why they will not win the next election. Go down to your bookies and put £100 down on tories winning next election, think youll find the odds interesting to say the least.

Even after the total ***** up the government have made, a poll in todays torygraph, sorry telegraph, puts labour ahead of the tories and 10% more of the voting public (polled) though blair better as premier than IDS.

If the tories sorted themselves out, as they should have by now, then they would be in the running. Its patently obvious they havent, if they were they would be up in front by some distance.

And yes i know its only a poll not actual fact, but they are some sort of guide nonetheless and after all a right wing sponsored poll, this wasnt out of the sunday sport.

When labour beat major resoundly in 1997 there were for a good few years way in front in the polls between the elections, there is no evidence of tories repeating what labour acheived

I did not express any biased views at all 555, I was saying quite rightly that we do not know whether the Tories would be incapable of making a better job of government than the present lot because they have not been in power for 6 years. You can't say that the present government has exactly starred at anything yet. You cannot make a sweeping statement like that without evidence which you do not have. Maybe the Tories will get their act together eventually. I think they may be regretting the loss of their last leader now. You have to go a bit to be further right than our present leadership.

For the record,as I have said previously, I am completely apolitical and wish only for a government which will run the country effectively on behalf of the electorate. We have not seen anything like that for a very long time.

Les

I hope they don't

But there's no other competition- BNP??

The only way a current government realises that they are unpopular is when they are voted out. Ifthey retain power they idiotically assume that they are doing something right.

I'm sure all the old duffers and so-gooder will turn out in force on the polls to make sure Labour stay where they are

The ballot should really have Abstinence box to tick. Then everyone could clearly see how unpopular all the parties are.

Hopefully Labour won't be elected - again.

Who on earth would vote for them? They make a cockup of so many things, and they can't sort out domestic issues.
