What is a good car to master RWD handling that won't bite you TOO hard?

I had an S3 TVR. It would let go at odd times, but basically I think the tyres on 'em (I had Bridgestone S02s, which are *the* tyre in TVR circles) are too grippy to be really playful with only 170 bhp on tap. So don't get one of them, then.
