It was a stretch of road that was 60mph limit, nothing else was within sight, why he didn't get a move on I don't know.
You had 2 options -
1. Overtake him.
2. Drop back and follow at a distance you were both comfortable with.

But you took the 3rd - drive up his chuff with no intention of overtaking.

No I didn't.... I turned off into a garden centre to give him time to get to wherever he was going to. I neither wanted to be in front or behind someone waving their arms about whilst driving a vehicle.
Were you there ? .... nevermind..

Thumbs down

why not overtake as there was no traffic about, or pull back and leave a decent gap in the first place. Yes its that simple, no need for 2 pages of rubbish to come up with that conclusion

Yeah ...a female who will be 52 on Wednesday and who has been driving without a scrape for 22 years.
Who is deemed to have loads of common sense by those who know her and who is getting a trifle pi$$ed off with this thread now.
How many more times do I have to repeat....YOU HAD TO BE THERE.
Give me some credit. I'm not some dumb-*** bimbo. The only thing I can see that I HAVE done wrong is to bare my soul on here , a site that is occasionally frequented by testosterone loaded males who NEVER EVER do anything wrong on the roads ! And who certainly wouldn't ever own up to any motoring mis-judgements or communication misinterpretations.
Thank you one and all for your helpful/unhelpful and sheer rude comments.
Mods...please pull the plug on this thread... I've had quite enough.

Baring your sole whilst driving?

Now I've found the answer!!

Anyone who drives a Vauxhall is a w@nker.

Anyone of you who thinks that is tailgating then I suggest you go to Tenerife and drive up the TF-1 motorway weekday mornings. Any distance over a meter in length is considered 1 cars length.

It's so sad that some people are just P****S when they get behind the wheel

It happend to me on the way home a couple of people were driving a $hit heap(rear bumper hanging off) and as i approached having overtaken a middle lane hogger,i moved into the outside lane gaining on this car and he just slammed his brakes on the to$$er,

I had to undertake him back into the middle lane and then slowed down until he came along side me so i could let him know what i thought

They just laughed P****S
