I have a german friend who has that old shape M5 sith race seats inside. It's a HORRIBLE FAST car, drive scooby's to a pile of Sh$t.
Must say that he live 20 miles from the circuit and goes driving there every day like we have a beer or so....
He is a hell of a driver and can take almost evry corner there sideways in a way that a film producer want to buy the rights on that.
The only changes on the car are : roll cage, sport seats, Movit brakes and some suspension changes...
No weight reduction or so, just raw power.
He can make powerslides as long as the gearing stretches, at 30 mph but also at 100 mph...
Creepy

John,
The M5 is a fantastic bit of kit and has no right for such a barge to handle like it does on the Nordschleife!!!! The only thing you really need to change/uprate on the M5 for hard use IMHO is the brakes, everything else is up to the job![Smile](images/smilies/smile.gif)
If I needed to do lots of miles then the M5 would be top of my list, but as my car is more of a toy, for this reason, I think the STi makes more sense.
Difficult one though!!
Matt
