Glasgow Meet **12 August Sign-in**
#32
Hi Dave,
Dunno what the story is for tomorrow night m8... see below.
To whom it may concern,
Unfortunately, I don't have the time these days to worry about organising and planning such events to perfection as this. All I do is stick up a post once a Month to keep some sort of interest going. Coatbridge has been chosen just to keep up the flow since the first one this year was there and the turnout so far has been fairly good.
Since March this year no one has come up with any other fantastic alternatives. We tried Tickled Trout as suggested by others and got the worst turnout ever. I agree Dougster that there was a lack of organisation once there and its in situations like that, you'd usually expect the more senior figures to take a hold of things and do some organising. Afterall, you tend to carry a little more weight when your over the age of 30 Some people simply don't want to meet in Retail Parks, midweek night, weekends etc. It will be very hard to please everyone in life no matter what it concerns and what you do....
As for any future meets from now on, I would be delighted if someone can step in and do the arranging and give the Glasgow meets the attention they deserve to make them a success.
As for tomorrow night folks, if the weather is still to be nice I would be up for going through to Knockhill or an alternative location, so what da ya wanna do???
Cheers
