Yep I done it in the snow last winter, great fun it would sit in pretty much the same place and spin all day if I'd wanted to. Also drifting sideways, effectively steering with the throttle keeping the steering wheel at the same angle.
Wouldn't fancy trying it on tarmac though, I dare say it's possible with enough power but the transmission and tyres will take hell's abuse!

Micky, does your car have an open diff or an LSD in the front? This would have a pronounced affect on your car's (and that of others') ability to do this sort of thing.

i have no idea
its possible to drift the cars rear out with the throttle in the wet, but the front always pulls it back into shape
as far as im aware its a standerd setup, although people seam to think it may have been fiddled with, nobody can be sure tho so i asume for now its standerd

A donut when pivoting around the front wheels is one thing . To get it to pivot around the centre of the car in a McRae (GB '95 I think, when he won) now thats something special

The secret to donutting is to turn it in then lift off thus causing your rear end to come round then it's just a matter of playing with the throttle to keep it going.
Theres no need to keep it on full lock it depends on the balance of your car and if you floor it I'm pretty sure the rev limiter will kick in pretty soon

Donuts aren't big and aren't clever. I for one would never condone that sort of tomfoolery in a Scoob.
Well, your own Scoob. Doing it on other people's is just fine though.
I'll get me coat

I've done them in the snow too. Just ask PC Frith who witnessed the whole thing then gave me a right b077ocking and a producer!
