LOL @ Steve, will be going out to 2.3 over winter hopefully, then we can start running some serious boost, until then i'm stuck around 400bhp on the standard chocolate rods!

RichiW

That sounds expensive and probably a headache - whats wrong with running around 400bhp - still a lot faster than most cars out there!

I think I need to buy a Ferrari next time -the amount I've spent I could have got a second hand 360 Modena - insurance and running costs might have been an issue though as would the practicality!!!I know theyre fast as I couldnt get away from one the other night!

Going out to 2.3 is actually not that expensive, the ECU and everything that goes with it has cost me considerably more!!

Having spent over £8k this year on the car already though, my bank balance has finally been certified DOA

Hmmm

I can now officially say that modding the engine is too much hassle

I have the headers - just need to sort out the Turbo - once that and a few other things are done I'll probably keep the car for a few more months and then sell it - otherwise I'll end up burning more money - anyway - I want a faster car and the Scoob isnt it!!

Plus I got my renewal through from LV - the gits have increased it a fair bit ............so for the first time in my life I think I'll do unprotected........given I only drive the Scoob about 5000 miles a year....

See ya at the next Well Lane

Just alittle teaser for the boys .. heres the dyno figures for todays runs at G-Force, power is ATW ...

More to come as thats the basic map, had to abandon the last mapping session due to weather conditions and lack of boost control ( thats 426bhp at the flywheel to save you all from getting the calculators out)

M.I.T.S.U.B.I.S.H.I Standard Internal's.. carnt beat 'em

(Ignore the red trace's, they are last years graphs ..... old hat now )

Hard to believe isn't it that David's car was virtually BOG standard apart from exhaust and filter at the first ever Well Lane day I did back in Feb 2002.

If that's not an inspiration to us all, I don't know what is.

Why's that?

Hummmm, is it because YOU havent given the poor leg enough power?

M3 is sick, M3 is this, M3 is that, wah, wah, wah. Its the driver Dave hes not playing with a full deck when hes behind the wheel. I know someone else that has a propper manual M3 thats not bad.

Get whats his face to take you for a spin in the Maserati, now thats a quick car!

I drove the masa the yesterday, paddle shift, traction control off focking RAW mate!
Reminded me of a 500bhp 300zx i used to have. Thinking about that i melted the turbos after running 28psi
The masa's classy while M3's are turning into tampons, but respect to M3 all the same.
