Kev,

Just give up a night at Manumission when you go to Ibiza - that should pay for the weekend in Wales!

I should be able to make it..

Tiz me wedding aniversary so when the missus rings I'll have to pretend I am tucked up in front of the telly or something.

Cannot be at home home so may as well have some fun.

Assuming I remember of course..

CW... I'm going to call you a muppet!!!!!

Kev's comment about he 'could of' come along, was in reference to the Wales Muppet camp, not this week's meet! like durrrrrr!

By the way, you're quite right about Kev's lack of grammar... he obviously wasn't taught proper, like what we was!

Thought I'd do a quick list!

DaveD and Meeeeeeee
Steve777
Casper555
Bru555
CharlieWhiskey
Jolly Green Monster (didn't forget you this time! )
Scooby-si
Donutman
Andy S
Lizzywizz
Mikee
Flat4

That makes er... quite a few of us! More welcome of course!

I think the best way is out past the university, but I'm not an expert on these things, so perhaps somebody else can answer that question. I'm just going to sit in the passenger seat and be chauffered there!

Yep, out past the 'Uni' (twas only a College in my day) turn left towards Kedleston Hall and carry on through Weston Underwood, up the hill and you are there.

But thats the boring way...

The usual? Around 7.30pm? Dave and I will arrive somewhere nearer 8, Mikee will get there around 10, and Cw will make it somewhere inbetween the 2, after taking a 50 mile route to travel around 6 miles!

You know me too well

Actually picking Lozza up on the way so may go straight there unless I can think of a little detour that side?

Hi All,

I'll be attending the Derby meets as I've purchased a scoob, Sti Version 5 Type RA V-Limited in Blue. Any of these about in Derby?

It's parked in my sisters garage until my Integra goes this Friday so doubt if I'll be able to make it to the meet tomorrow as I'm suffering from jet lag but I'll be up for the next local meet. Do any of you go to the jap meet at the Stenson Bubble? i've been a few times and a couplle of mates with EVO go there but we could do with a bigger scooby presence.

Zero77, you're welcome to come along in any old car on Thursday if you're over the jet lag. Steve777 has organised a meet for 31st August, ending up at the Bubble see here.

CW, was thinking of going past Keddleston Hall, then turning right, and going via Duffield, out to Worksworth, and back through Hulland Ward?? Have to make sure you don't overshoot the pub going in that direction!

Bit of a late entry....

Might be able to make it. Just need to figure out the best way of getting there from Chesterfield.

Any ideas CW? Don't need scenic, just quickest

Well being originally from up that way, and having worked in Derby for 23 years, I can honestly say that the quickest (as recommended by Autoroute) is also one of the best

A61 South through Clay Cross up to Higham then turn right (actually straight on along roman road) straight through Oakerthorpe and keep going till the traffic lights on the A610 ('Excavator' Pub). Turn right A610 to Ambergate and left onto A6 to Belper. Right at the traffic lights by the East Mill onto the A517 towards Ashbourne. Carry on past the traffic light crossroads at Cowers Lane and up the hill through Turnditch to crossroads then turn left towards Kedleston & Derby, keep left and its a mile and a half further on on the right

last bit is on here, pub is near the bottom left in the middle of the fork

The last 2 meets were obviously a fluke! The race is on for tonight... remember I have to try and get Dave to understand how to use a clock to tell the time yet!!! (It's true Dave, don't bother replying!!! )

Lozza - at 2 events in a row??? Muppet camp AND this? Help! What's happening???????

Woo-hoo!

Another good meet, even though the weather let us down a bit for the first time in two years

Nice to see some new faces! Hope to see you all again soon.

Think we had the biggest gathering of black scoobs in the midlands this evening

Different to have a short blast home as well (although we also enjoyed our minor detour via Wirksworth on the way out )

DaveD & Rachael
