"Ban all Political Correctness" was most definitely not intended as "Racism should be considered ok"
That's not what I'm talking about at all. It's more the Chairman/Chairwoman = [PC] Chairperson type of crud that I'm on about.
Unfortunately, pretty much anything PC seems to fit in that category.
As for the "white cracker" bit, you have to see people's point of view when you have PC twaddle such as:
"Blackboard must now be called Chalkboard" and yet Whiteboard is considered ok.
Theres abosolutely no race issue involved, just the fact that theres no logic or consistency to it.
Getting shot of all the tosh like that fits rather well into the idea of a "Common Sense Party", wouldn't you agree ?
On the other side of that, you have the issue of MP's and Police being too worried about keeping the Campaign/Pressure Groups quiet (Speed Cameras etc) to run/police the country to any reasonable level of effectiveness.
With speed cameras, they only quote the "Deaths" figure as the justification for doing it. What it should really be is deaths/journeys made.
Why is it not reported that way ? Pressure groups wouldn't want you to see that figure because there would be too many 0's after the decimal point.
The figure will never, ever reach zero, so striving for it with a passion is pointless. The only way to achieve that is by banning all transportation.
As for the number of people affected by being burgled, much more than 1/burglary.
Kind of puts all the PC tosh into a different light I think.
Lets hope just some good old common sense will start to prevail

Personally I cant wait to get back to the UK.
Absolutely there is a lot that could be better, but there are some things about the UK that just dont transplant to other parts of the world in quite the same way.
I am proud to be English, and often find the biggest whingers are those that dont contribute much to the community. Hands up those whingers that have volunteered for anything lately?
