Whats the most irritating thing about your scoob????

That flimsy dash storage box on the classics
Also, the paranoia about leaving it parked anywhere in case summit happens to it and feeling every bump on a road.
Still, I knew what to expect b4 I got a Scoob, but still bought one and still loving it

Going to have to ammend my original number 1. By far the most annoying thing is waking up at every sound, every night and reaching for my maglite just incase I need to club a thief to death.
As for your comment Gav, I may have the power but now I need the control........ did someone say coilovers?
DOH! The spending NEVER ends!

Clutch peddle rattles like mad, some kind of spring thing on it hopefully getting sorted on wednesday ,in for 3 year 'biggy' service.
Another thing is that cup holder in the dash(classic) slightly on the flimsy side, spill any drink on it and forget to wipe it off, push it back in and it sticks like super glue in the dash.
The noise from the window motors is not very assuring, sounds like the motor was designed for a 'black & decker' than for a car window motor.
Have to agree with the glove box and door panel rattles.
Never mind all the little rattles and flimsy plastic are all forgotten when your cruising with the sounds on, and giving it some boot!!!!!!!

yes, by turning nozzle 90 degrees when filling up it wont cut out at all til its full, dont ask me why!
Most annoying thig has got to be parking it and leaving it and not knowing if it will be there/damaged when u get back. The ONLY thing i hate about the car is this.

Mine is that the driver's door window rattles at over 100mph and is quite loud with it. Other thing is having no sunroof - I know before you say it, but I dont like using aircon either.

For me its the headlights there awful, i'm looking at changing the fog lights for driving lights, plus the horns naff. The seals on the rear windows are annoying when the kids have been in the back the seal always seems to be pushed out.

andy_s, you can stay behind me if you like on night drives, I've got the conversion on the lights, hehe.
Can see for miles when there on.
Most irritating thing??
The wife checking the bank statement and finding out how much juice I've been putting in, so had to go out for a spin to get away from the row, hehe.
chris.

I hate the "bright" switch. It only works on the clock, what is the point of that. You look under the bonnet and you think, now the same people that came up with this clever 2.0L turbocharged engine,a great car that has won a rally world championship has also came up with the most useless switch ever put in a car!!
p.s still love my scoob,it puts a smile on my face everyday.

On my MY99 UK:
The brakes used to annoy me
The lack of grunt low down used to annoy me
The clutch judder used to annoy me
The lack of burble when I wanted to hear it used to annoy me
........ so I got a full decat, a remap, a Helix clutch and Gp N brakes and we are at one again, I love it to bits I do I do............

*the bloody CRAP MAF design..
*the ambiguity of trouble shooting problems with boost..
*the want for more power
*the resulting pile of uber mods waiting to be fitted in my shed/garage!!
*the lack of a grin whenever Im not driving it hard..
*not being able to open my drivers window otherwise it whistles at high speed.. have to slow right down, open door and it then seals again.

You load of moanin gits
Errrrr, well
I dont like the whine in 2nd in mine,
The scratches down the driver and passenger front windows,
My curbed (by previous onwners!) alloys, cos I want new 18" ones now.
My Visa bill after the last Service, 90k....Ouch!
The fact that my wife and daughter insist in coming with me to Tesco's, when they should clearly get the bus and meet me there

Tire noise drowning out every engine/ exhuast noise at high cruising speeds.
Vibrating mirror,
If in traffic on a cold day I can hear the aerial above my hand flapping about
Brakes (sorted)
Lag, and crap off-boost performance (sorted - full decat and filter).
No a/c
No electrically heated front screen (I so miss that after my XR3)
The thieving bar stewards that make me paranoid to park it anywhere.
Crap standard stereo system.
Anyone who I give lift asks what the "BRIGHT" button does
Some people ask why I still have it Well, I may complain, but I still love it
