all i can say it what the young ones are like know a days it simple if the could have a nice car they would but instaed they do wee mods like ie bb4 boom box's mean we where all young at 1 point in out life's mean everyone must look back and think about the stupid things we done and thought it was the bees and knees and i point 2 ! true ? mean when i was 17 i had nova 1.2 spin (standard) well white wheel trims and a pink sticker on the back window sayin beaver hunting mean i look back and say to myself how ******* daft was it mean if i was to see that in a young boys car i would be like wtf ! its just a spell we go thro

Loud music - well the stereo in my WRX was rubbish but i was more interested in how the car sounded to the point of never driving without the windows closed.
Loud wasnt what i was interested in. Release of power and quality of sound was more what i wanted and i got that with the Afterburner sytem i had.
I can totally see where you are coming from Pete and all power to you for voicing your opinion as i respect my dads opinion when he looked at me with disgust when i drove up to his house.
BUT, who gives a monkeys what other people think. Enjoy yer Scooby, modify it, do what you want with it. Its your hard earned cash and its there to be enjoyed.
I drive a very quiet modest car these days and i love hearing a properly set up car rumble by. Sorry Pete, but at the risk of being called a tosser by you

My exhaust is very loud, but sounds awesome - I am addicted to the sound of the flat 4 on full chat. My neighbour keeps seeing me hooning it off lights near my local boozer, and laughs - makes me laugh too. I may be a boy-racer even though i'm too old to be, and my IQ is 150 - people who know love the sound of the boxer, the others think my exhaust has fell off lol

Through no fault of my own - or choosing, I'll be getting a very quiet car for me next! The Spec C has equal length manifolds and sounds quite quiet indeed, even with the uprated Miltek exhaust.
I do however want more of a sound out of it - but most of all a bigger exhaust with a titanium tip (I to don't appreciate the Nova's and I'm not over fond of my mate's RB5 exhaust note), but want something that looks different and while keeping the noise levels low, something louder than the really quiet standard one.

You also happen to inflict those opinions at a similar volume to the to55ers with the big stereos.......
Have you ever overtaken a caravan? I'm sure you have, and no doubt it was done safely - you used full throttle of course so that you spent as little time as possible on the other side of the road, the safe thing to do.
Now, consider the reaction of the guy in the caravan (probably with one of those fishes on his boot), listening to your standard exhaust roar past (even a standard exhaust makes a decent noise on full throttle). He's saying "look at that to55er roaring about, he'll kill himself and others"
So who's right?

I've had my Classic now for a few months. First thing i did was to change the standard exhaust to a Ninja b/b. Why did i buy my Subaru....because of the engine perfomance,handling and the flat four sound.....
I never listen to the stereo and always drive around with the windows open to hear the rumble....mind you it has been hot this summer.
I hate those loud 'tinny' exhausts on so many Novas.
Several people have actually come up to me at the supermarket and told me how they like the sound of my exhaust.

If you drive a Subaru it's the law to get rid of the pea shooting straws that they fit as standard
To be honest, 99% of the general public do think that Scoob drivers are complete to$$ers anyway so a huge exhaust isn't going to make any difference.

My classic has a Sweet sounding zorst on it (IMO )
Others have said it is loud but i dont care as i LOVE it
P.s the other day i pulled out from a blind corner and i think my Zorst saved me from a SMACK

AND guess what?? They think that the bigger the exhaust the smaller the ***** ...................... as for Gold Wheels, they don't pay any attention to them as the driver is too interested looking and whistling at the Builders!!
So there we have it - you look complete and utter planks to grown-up men with proper sized ******* AND to beautiful young ladies!!
The hairdressing males, however, probably just want to ride with you!!
It NOT big and its NOT clever - get them changed this instant!!
