sorry if it came across that way CTR but twas just a joke, was quite impressive to watch and was good for the spectators was what i meant
have to say i was mightily impressed by the CTR's last nite anyway, the red 1 sittin on its ar$e was sweet and 1 of the black CTR's with a magnex was bein pushed very hard round clarks, top marks to the driver for the commitment...

Both VX220s were Turbos. The blue one was down about 15 - 20 BHP because of some induction fault. I was in the Blue one while the red one was on track and we couln't keep up with it. Certainly the Turbos have a noticable difference in performance compared to the standard VX220. Stu in his Elise 160 Sport was certainly having to drive his hard in the corners to make up for the extra straight line speed of the VX220 Turbo. In my standard 120 BPH Elise I could normally manage to outpace a standard VX220. In Stu's Elise we did pass the blue VX220 Turbo after a while, but they were still very close on performance.

Kenny,
Did u have the blue Turbo 2000 without spoiler?? I remember having a good session in the early part of the evening with urself.....before my terminal (well for the night anyway) alternator belt failure.
My mate's got a silver Turbo 2000, which I have driven, and it's interesting to see where the two engines differ....the ITR pulls harder up to 2.5k, then the Scoob comes on boost, definitely giving it the edge, then the Teg gets a slight edge at 5.8k when it hits VTEC. But TBH, they both seem to be pretty evenly matched!!
Root cause of my little ....mishap....was the bolt that held the idler pulley for my aircon belt to the block sheared, and with the engine at 8000RPM it bounced about a bit and took out my alternator belt!!

Hi Andy, yes it was me with the de-spoiler blue scooby and I would agree with your comments about the power delivery of the two engines. My better half drives a clio 172 & that has a similar difference to the scooby.
I've got a couple of laps on the camcorder of a dual between a white ITR (in front), my mate Mike in a older shape nissan 200sx (second) and me (last). Was it you? I like it because Mike was having fun getting the back end out in many corners & eventualy lost it (twice) at deawoo corner when I eventually got by. Do you remember this? Or was it your ITR buddy?
If you're interested I could make the couple of laps available.
Cheers, Kenny

Was it the Silver Nissan 200sx, I remember him pushing hard to keep with me on the bends, and he did end up on the grass twice. Yep, I'd be interested in the footage, it'll be interesting to see what lines I was taking.
TBH I think the Teg could do with another 20BHP to give it some more go on the straights...I've got some plans, but I'll need to wait till I get the cash!!

Hi Johnny, got the spoiler on Sat - looking good again - even managed to give her a wash at the weekend :-)
The bike was taken away end of last week and today I got a letter from the DVLA. I've decided they can keep it which means I don't have to pay any fines - which would have been over 400 quid by now.
Whens the house move?
Are you all set?
If you need a hand shifting stuff then let me know.

Cheers for the offer Kenny
Got all the stuff out now, just need to wait another month and it all happens again I may call on you yet
I'm presuming the bike wasn't a cherished item then ?? lol
Probably as well letting them have it if you cant be ar$ed with it.

I'll be there - it will be easy to spot me as I'll be the only scooby without a rear spoiler (makes for interesting handling ;-) Some b*****d stole it a couple of weeks ago ... aaaarrrggg !!!
I'm friendly so say hello if you spot me.
Looking forward to it,
Kenny
