Thats what i am doing, as in
edit my post and compare it to the other webshots tests, as far as I can see I'm doing the same. Do you have to be logged into webshots or am I still missing something?

Upload pic into your fotango album, double click on pic you want to post, click on "Get a link to this picture", double click on the URL, the picture will appear with Fotango.com underneath, right click on picture, go to properties, copy URL, paste URL into scoobynet between [img ] and [ /img].
and you get this...

just thought i would try forango works fine logged in or out ....well so i thought ????
went to my pic and got this when tried to look at it full size :
