So shooting him did what????? Stopped the locator device button from been pressed for what a couple of seconds??????
Harry would have still been able to press the button or the other 2 muppets could have......
And if you have ever seen some one shot at that range with a shot gun (With the possible choice of cartridges) it would have been a lot more messy!!

Harry did get shot, in the arm. He'll live. The paramedics didn't scoop and run. If they had he'd not have been wrapped in a blanket and put on a drip.
They do all that in the ambulance if they're in a hurry.
