P1 or STI 8?

Well don't get an Evo VIII as the selector pin falls out and your left with a box full of neutrals!!!
The Spec C is the one to go for as once again I was at Litchfields today and like it better every time I'm there (even more when Sept comes and I get mine) - this month's taking ages to pass.
Had the P1 and although I really liked it when I had it, I couldn't go back to one now (feels faster - even than the Spec C) and the rear spoiler is still the nicest I've ever seen on a car, but the inside is now very dated (I know many don't care and the seats still look great), but for me, the refinement of the new model says a lot (although not enough for me to get an STi8 uk model), so save up for a Spec C is the answer - Iain's said his demo model will be up for grabs near November, get a bargain on that. (Hope I didn't let anything slip there Iain)

Saw a red Spec C @ PowerStation last week. Could be very tempted, but not yet. Sorry, still adore the P1.
Still not too sure about the spoiler on the spec c yet. Rest of the car looks fantastic, but it's still missing the slightly agressive look of a P1.

And before anyone says anything about the handling, it's close to perfect, but a swift £200 and a trip to PS will sort it completely.
Bear in mind that the STI has got a bit of under going on.
Sounds like STI7/8 with a set of F1 GSD3's 35 or 40 profile would be fantastic.
(Just put the same on my P1, and after 1K, they are fantastic).

make sure you drive a P1 with the 18" wheels on it - makes a massive difference to the handling (suspensions set up for these) - the 17" std wheels make it oversteer.
oh, and deffo ignore the duffers who think they're worth £12k - if you find one at that price, let me know and I'll buy another!

P1 any day....just look at the pic, it does it for me I've test drove the new STi model and I know what you mean. Its more updated and tbh, I was thinking of changing aswell. But after getting back into the P1, I know what car I'd rather have.
