Pete555 has just emailed me to say he could make it - so thats me, Andy, Pete and possibly Ken - Haven't been able to contact BrainP
All we need is a venue - I haven't done this kind a thing before - will a car park do? or is that a bit lame?
I got me lambda sensor and had it fitted (£330!!) - it now passed the MOT...but still seems slow maybe the ECU will correct in time (really got to take it down for its rolling road tune to find out)
Also removed the Carrzola (Jap Pioneer) twin Tape/CD/Graphics head units and had my MP3 Palyer fitted - didn't have an ariel so I got one of them fitted as well (looks naf, wish I hadn't bothered now as the Mp3 player head unit is US and only works on the odds wavebands so can't pick all the stations - waste of time and money and they must of drilled a hole in the god damn roof to fit the arial)
Anyway if anyone wants the Carrzola gear then they are welcome to it - shipping only - Let me know

Here is a pic of the head units you cn have for free!!
Both link up to each other - the top one is the control unit and tape deck - the bottom one is the CD and graphics - looks cool - does patterns etc
Both are NOT face off and the waveband has NOT been expanded

There are already a few of us who have 555 Edition Imprezas who would like to meet more owners and their cars.

Andy555 - just reading thru the post again and picking up on your point that you now know off 4 555 Edition's in London alone - and yes that seems to much of higher percent if only 100 were made - I know Ken states in his website that only 100 were produced but I disagree - I think it would of made much more sense that 555 were produced....Sorry Ken

Right then - venue anyone? I grew up next to BlueWater before it was built (in a village called Bean) - I auctally used to fish the chalk pits many moons ago....
So I know the area pretty well although it may have changed somewhat..
There is a nice pub down from there next to Dartford in Crossways business park -just off the M25 - so its easy to get to for everyone - think its being re-fitted at the moment but due to open soon - its called The Whalf - I'll find out the score and let everyone know

Hi all, I have put a post on the meetings section (Southern and midlands), I know of at least two more with Imprezas who may come, but we need to get more 555s, can we keep this near the top please.

No I wasn't talking about that pub although now you mention it that would be a much better place for it - it has a large car park and its very easy to get to...
I spoke with my nan of all people and she says its now a Harvester resturant - We can still get a drink and bite to eat if needed so no problem...

What constitutes a 555 Edition then? I've got a WRX STi3 V-Ltd wagon, 274 of 555 in 555Blue. Does that qualify?

just got hold of my 96 wrx v- limited 351/1000 looks identical 2 your sti even got sti fog covers.got a small sticky plate at the rear stating what No. it is.

For what it's worth, mines a MY96 555 STi RA. Haven't got the red manifolds or plaque, but does have vent, spray and crap brakes. Also has close ratio box and 7500 rev limit. (5000rpm at 90mph, how thirsty?!)
Regarding numbers, 555 is the name of the tobacco company who where sponsoring Subaru at that time in the WRC. I believe that 2000 type 2 555's were made, but only 1000 left Japan. I don't know how many of these were RA's but probably not too many.

Can't promise, but will certainly try! Would be good to meet a few other 555 owners, might even find out what all the switches, dials and flashing lights are for!
