ScoobyDraven, the unit plugs directly into the ECU diagnostic port under the steering colomn with a cable provided. It's allways awkward taking bits of your car apart for the first time, and this was no exception, but everything came out cleanly, and it was just a case of screwing the new bracket down into the hole, and clipping it in.

Steve, that sounds like my car yup, I hope he's still happy with it! Are you the P1 owner that came with him?

Just for a few days there I had 3 cars to my name... first and possibly last occasion!

When I went on them it was first out of Bl;ackpool to the Douglas field and then out of Liverpool airport to the same field.

I used to be a saturation diver before I jacked it all in to dedicate my life to the pursuit of badger stuffing.

Yep, that was me with the P1 (which is sadly up for sale now!)

My mate loves the car. It started making a whining noise on boost though. He took it to the dealer and they thought it was the turbo, so replaced it on warranty. The whine was still there though, turned out to be the prodrive backbox! LOL! He got brand new turbo out of it though.

Nice photo btw, your Dad told us about your pug, sounded quite impressive........looks nice too.

Steve, glad everything turned out ok. Strange about the back box though, because I had it put on when I got it, so it really was pretty new. Still... new turbo...

speedline make speedlines i presume unless they were bought out by someone else? not sure of the web site but try putting the speedline name in your search bar and see what it comes up with.

poss sites maybe www.speedline.co.uk or www.wheel-base.co.uk which do most of the speedline range.
