Do you know what's likely to turn up for the display? Is it usually quite a big one? It's a couple of hours from Bradford, but I might be able to make that weekend...

Millband, neither of those shows feature any really fast jets, ie F 16's etc, Valley seems to be a long way to go to see things which fly over my house!
So who is gonna organise an airshow meet then? I'd do it but I'm crap!

True, true...but I can't make most weekends due to canoeing and not the August Bank Holiday either, so for me I'm short of options!
I'll do a bit of surfing and see what's on...

Hopefully I'm going to be taking an Albert into Shoreham (south coast) this year - not quite RIAT but then that was burgled by one of the other sqns this year. Any Scoobynetters passing through the Shoreham airshow this year should come and say hi; don't think I'll put the scoob in the back tho' - just don't trust the movers to chain it in without trashing it.
Best airshow? Have to be Mildenhall a couple of years back - possibly the biggest booze-up in the history of military aviation!

AH! Valley, my first posting. Surely the RIAT at Cottesmore is the one to go to(£23 a ticket?)
P.S. pretty sure there aren't any operational dark green Harrier GR7's
Cheers Harry (ex-Harrier GR7 Display Team)
